Broad Avenue Community & Economic Development (BRACED)

Broad Avenue Community & Economic Development (BRACED) Corporation is an extension of First Baptist Church-Broad and implements programs and initiatives that center youth development, education, housing and health and wellness beyond the church walls. Our mission is to aid in breaking the cycle of poverty by aggressively and generously providing opportunities and assistance to those most in need according to scripture.

Since our incorporation in 2008, we’ve invested in our community and abroad through educational programs such as Beyond the Classroom, targeted community outreach and providing scholarships for youth for post-secondary opportunities.
